Lumira ("we", "us") operates a pre-launch website that lets homeowners and businesses in Kenya request an AI-generated solar quote and connects them with vetted installers. This policy explains what information we collect through that site and how we use it.

When you request a quote, we collect the name, email address, and role (buyer or installer) you submit through the form. If you later send us a utility bill, roof photos, or contact details as part of getting a quote, we collect that information too.

Like most websites, our hosting provider automatically logs basic technical information such as browser type, device type, and IP address for security and diagnostic purposes.

We use the information you provide to contact you about early access, to size and price a solar system when you request a quote, and to match buyers with installers who can service their project. We do not use your information for anything beyond operating and improving this service.

We do not sell your personal information. Once matching is live, a buyer's project details (not their full contact information without consent) are shared with the specific installers they are matched with, so those installers can prepare a quote. We do not share your information with any other third party except where required by law.

We keep your information for as long as needed to operate the waitlist and, later, the quote-matching service, or until you ask us to delete it. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you at any time by emailing hello@lumira.africa.

This service is not directed at, and should not be used by, anyone under the age of 18.

We may update this policy as the product develops. We will change the "Last updated" date above whenever we do, and material changes will be communicated to waitlist members by email.
